No. Santa Skivvies Run is a fundraiser for San Francisco AIDS Foundation, so we do encourage you to fundraise to the best of your abilities, but it is not required! Once you register, you will be provided with tools, tips and tricks to support you in meeting your goal.

Come stripped to your skivvies, speedos, skimpy bras, or other red undergear. Or, wear your favorite festive creative costume or red running outfit. This is a body positive event!

We’ll have a gear check station when you check in. Drop off your clothes or jackets at the gear holding area, and reclaim them at the block party at the finish line.

The route start and end in the Castro. We’ll announce more specifics close to the event.

Check-in opens outside Lookout, 3600 16th St, San Francisco, begins at 10:00 AM. The run begins at 11:00 AM.

After the run concludes at 11:30 AM, Santa's drag show and the award ceremony will begin.

Santa Skivvies Run is a smoke-free event.

Not only is Santa Skivvies Run a really fun event, it’s also a major fundraiser of San Francisco AIDS Foundation. San Francisco AIDS Foundation works to end the HIV epidemic in the city where it began, and eventually everywhere. Established in 1982, our mission is the radical reduction of new infections in San Francisco because we refuse to accept HIV as inevitable. Through education, advocacy and direct services for prevention and care, we are confronting HIV in communities most vulnerable to HIV. The money raised by participants will enable San Francisco AIDS Foundation to continue these efforts. You can learn more about San Francisco AIDS Foundation by visiting our website at sfaf.org.

 

YES! Once you start asking around, you’ll be surprised by the generosity of the people you know – and sometimes even people you don’t know. When you register, we’ll set you up with your own personal fundraising page, provide you access to a variety of social fundraising tools; and coach you along the way, providing you with fundraising advice, tips, and tricks. You’ll raise more than you thought you could in no time.

  4. Enter your new Fundraising Goal 
  5. Click Save

Yes. You can make a donation to a Fundraiser on a team or you can make a general team donation.

If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completed donation form to San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Donations Tab on Your Fundraising Page: 

  1. Login to your Participant Center 
  2. From the top black bar, select Your Page
  3. Select the Donations tab on your Page to view all of the people who have donated to you

Donations Received Tab in Your Participant Center: 

  1. Login to your Participant Center
  2. From the top black bar, select Donations Received 
  3. See the people who have donated to you

  3. Next to each donation, click Send Thank You
